YOUR TREASURE IS SO RICH IN CHRIST
Bishop Mike Okonkwo

“Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us, they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into”.
1 Peter 1:12 KJV
Somehow, I feel impressed in my spirit to emphasise your position in Christ this early in the year, so you can take all that belongs to you. Don’t let the enemy rob you of your rich inheritance. The blessings, the rich resources and the treasure that God had prepared for us believers are so rich that even angels were peeping in and saying what is this! They were overwhelmed by the treasures that the believer carries.
According to the book of Isaiah 33:24: “And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity” (KJV). The inhabitants of this kingdom don’t talk about sickness. These people don’t talk about sickness or poverty. Poverty and sickness are strangers in that Kingdom. These people are inhabitants of heaven. And in heaven, there is no sickness! In heaven, there is no poverty. There is no fear in heaven!
Beloved, you are a citizen of heaven. You received this citizenship when you made Jesus your Lord and Saviour. Your land will produce because you have been wired to produce. All you need to do is to believe. That is why Jesus said all things are possible to him that believes. The hallmark of the Old Testament is doing. If you don’t do, you cannot achieve. But the hallmark of the new testament is to believe. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9, 10 KJV). It is believing that gives you access to the rich treasures that the Grace of God had purchased for you in Christ.
