YOU WILL EAT THE GOOD OF THE LAND
By Bishop Mike Okonkwo

“For the Lord thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills; a land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey; a land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it;…” Deuteronomy 8:7-9 (KJV)

Beloved, you will eat the good of the land. Your land will produce for you. You have entered your season of greater glory, and there is nothing the devil can do about it. God is bringing you into a land where you will eat bread without scarceness. In other words, the supply would have come before a need arises in your life. No good thing will pass you by. You will take delivery of your miracle. Your lips will testify. You will not be denied.

In my walk with God, I have discovered that one-way believers miss out on their blessing is when they decide to disobey God. The Word of God is clear – Isaiah 1:19 says, ‘’If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:…” (KJV). That is the key, and there are no two ways about it.

You cannot obey God at your own convenience. There is nothing like partial obedience. You are either obeying God, or you are living in disobedience. Remember, you were created for God’s pleasure, and He expects you always to live your life in total obedience to Him. Living a life of obedience includes obeying His Word and instructions from His servants.

The scriptures abound with examples of people who truly obeyed God even when it was not convenient to do so. Everyone stood tall for God despite their challenges, and today, we celebrate their exploits. As you obey Him, His Word, and His servants, be assured that He will throw His weight around on your behalf.
