YOU ARE NOT HOPELESS
By Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Thursday 26th December 2024

“Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” Romans 5:1-2 (KJV)

The hope we have in God does not disappoint. This is because this hope is predicated and rooted in the love of God. It can never fail. That means there is hope in every time of trouble. I don’t know what you may have lost or where your business is. I don’t know how devastated you have been, but I want you to know you have hope. You will bounce back because, inside every believer, there is a bounce-back mechanism. There is nothing like a fatal failure for us as believers.

It had ceased to be with Abraham in the area of reproduction, and yet, against that hope, he believed in hope. The reason you can believe in hope is because it is dependent on what God has said. His word is errorless, impregnable, authoritative and irreversible. His word can never fail. You can depend on it. Abraham became the father of nations because God spoke it. I don’t know what God has spoken to you. I encourage you to hold on to that word because it will undoubtedly come to pass. The Bible says in Hebrew chapter 11:1, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for”. Your faith can never work without this hope. Your faith lays hold on what hope has supplied. It lays hold on what hope spoke. Your faith enables it to be made manifest. So, this hope is supernatural. It cannot fail.

Beloved, I tell you that you are not hopeless. I don’t care where you are and whatever anybody tells you. You can never be hopeless. It doesn’t matter how bad things have become. All things are working together for your good. Nothing works against the believer! Nothing works against you! There shall be uncommon divine intervention in every area of your struggles.
