WHO WE ARE

“Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:” Acts 15:24
The scripture above is a glimpse of what could happen if we do not ensure that the right doctrine is passed from one generation to another. In this Ministry, we have a way of doing what we do; as a leader, you must be prepared to teach it to those around you. It is not enough to tell people what to do; it is important to explain the reason to them. You will not always be there, but when people understand the why, they will make the right decisions.
This also applies to business owners. Don’t just give instructions and run organizations that are 100% dependent on you. Build systems. Have a manual or standard operating procedure. If need be, engage the right professionals. Document what you do so that you can easily pass on the baton because that business should not die with you.
You might not be in a leadership position today, but you are still a leader. Someone is following you. Yes, every TREMite is a believer, but every believer is not a TREMite, so the things that make us unique must be taught to the generation coming behind you. Don’t let the culture die with you. Don’t belong to those that tell the tale of the good old days. We have the word of God that says the path of the just is like the shining light that shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day (Prov. 4:18). So there is no better ‘yesterday’, every day is better than the last.
Teach our Mission Statement, our value proposition, our colours, our logo, and why we do the things we do. It is all in the MIT manual, go through it again and again, refresh your mind and re-teach it to those around you so that everyone can be on the same page. God has given us a mandate; we are not like every other ministry. We are unique, we have an assignment, and we will fulfill it, in Jesus’ name. Let us build to last.
