WHAT MATTERS IS YOU FAITH IN CHRIST

“For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.” (Galatians 5:6 KJV)
Anyone who has received Jesus Christ into his life is heaven-bound. If Christ is in your life, you are secured in your salvation. Your salvation is not a product of your works. All you did to be saved was to accept and believe in Jesus as the Son of God, who took your place on the cross and died that you may live. If you received Jesus simply by faith, how then do you want to make heaven by works? No matter how good you are, your good works cannot save you. Tell me this one thing! Did you receive the Spirit by following the law? No! You received the Spirit because you heard the message about Jesus and believed it. You began your life in Christ by the Spirit. Now will you try to complete it by your own power? Paul in his writing to the Galatians asked: why are you trying to complete your Christian race by trying to do this and that and keep this and that? He said those who do that are foolish.
Did God give you His Spirit or work miracles because you followed the law? No! God gives you His Spirit and works miracles because you heard the message about Jesus and you believed that He died for you. Jesus took your place so that you can have His own place. That is what gave you His life and His spirit and not because you obeyed anything. God is looking at the obedience of Christ.
The scripture says about Abraham; Abraham believed God and it was counted to him as righteousness. So, the true children of Abraham are those who walk in faith and not those who obey laws. The truth is no one can keep the law, because once you break one, you have broken all and the wages of sin is death. So your part is to stand steadfast in faith in the finished work of Calvary and heaven is guaranteed.
