THERE IS HOPE FOR YOUR SETTLEMENT

“But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that he has suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.” 1 Peter 5:10 (KJV)
For anyone not to understand that we live in uncertain times, the person would be dumb, blind or dishonest. These are times of uncertainty in the entire world. Times of violence, hate, distrust, confusion, bloodshed, and instability. Things are falling apart, and the centre is no longer holding. All over the world, we are experiencing earthquakes, violence, natural disasters and all kinds of tragedies. So many people are virtually hopeless and wondering whether they will ever survive. Some wonder if they will ever rise again or if it is possible for things to turn around.
Beloved, we do not live in the hope of men. Man’s hope has a margin for failure. It is not sustainable. Man can tell you that he will help you, but for certain reasons, he may be unable to. A man can tell you that he will pay your fees or help you in your business, but he cannot do that for some reason. A doctor can come to you and give you all the assurance, but getting to the theatre, he fails because man’s hope has a margin for failure.
But we are not talking about the hope of man; we are talking about the hope of God. It is a confident, joyful expectation that there is still a way out, no matter the trouble. No matter the trouble or challenge you face in any area of your life right now, I declare that you are coming out. There is a bounce-back mechanism for every child of God. The scripture says in Colossians 1:27: “…Christ in you, the hope of glory”. It means a confident expectation of glory. Christ inside you assures you that things will turn around for your glory.
