THE WALLS ARE COMING DOWN

“Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.” Joshua 6:1 (KJV)
Jericho was shut down to ensure no one entered to get his inheritance. Jericho was the city that Israelites would have to conquer to get to their inheritance. The inheritance was there, but they had, first of all, to conquer Jericho.
God told Joshua that Jericho, its kings and mighty men of valour, have been given into his hand. Remember that no one went in, and no one went out. The walls of Jericho were so thick. The Bible’s history tells us that vehicles can drive on them. It was not easy to penetrate it. But God said to Joshua, I have given it to you, and you will not fire a shot. You must go round it once a day, for six days and on the seventh day, blow the trumpet. That is not conventional. How do you explain that the enemies are all over the walls with their machetes, bows and arrows, yet God was telling him to go round? It requires faith to obey such instructions.
Joshua believed, and they began to go around Jericho. That was quite ridiculous. On the seventh day, they went around seven times. By the time they were through and blew the trumpet, the walls came down. Every wall that is facing is coming down right now! From this moment, whatever has harassed your life shall be no more. Never again! No more molestation in your life.
There is nothing the devil fashioned that is strong enough to withstand God’s word. God upholds all things by the word of His power. God is not a man that he should lie; neither is he the son of man that he should repent. God’s word is authoritative and errorless! It never fails!
If God has said it, you can take it to the bank. You can go to bed once He has spoken it. It will surely come to pass!
