THE BELIEVER IS NOT APPOINTED UNTO WRATH
By Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.” Romans 5:9 (KJV)

You see, the wrath of God is for those who refused Christ. Have you invited Christ into your heart? If yes, then know that you are already delivered from the wrath of God. If no, then you are heading towards wrath and condemnation.

This is the moment of grace! The moment that God is not bringing judgement, but He is showing grace. God is not willing that any should perish. If you reject him now how can you survive when the world powers begin to manipulate the entire earth and wickedness will be revealed in such a way that it will be a terrible day.

The mystery of iniquity is already at work. That is why you see all kinds of evil, debauchery and wickedness all over the world. It is part of the end time. The book of Matthew chapter 24 speaks about this. That is why you see a lot of deception which is a hall mark of the last days. The only way you can safeguard yourself is by getting into the word of God.

“For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed…” (2 Thessalonians 2:7-8)
The word “he” there refers to the believer, you and me. The reason God has not poured His wrath on earth is because of us. We are not going to suffer the same thing with the world. That is why there is a restriction. The believer is the restriction to God pouring out His wrath because we are so precious to God.

The devil is already parading in the world and throwing some little signs here and there. He’s already in the world but he cannot be revealed because the light is still here. We are the light of the world and the salt of the earth. And where there is light, darkness has to vacate. So before the devil goes wild, we are out of the earth. And then wrath will come.
