STOP OPERATING FROM THE REALM OF SYMPTOMS
By Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Wednesday 7th August 2024

“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18 (KJV)

Stop looking at the things which the devil is bringing against your life. Whatever he is doing or showing you is for a moment; it will soon pass. Hold fast to God’s word! Meditate on the word! Think on the word and speak to it. Speak it in the morning, in the afternoon and in the night. Soon, you will see it manifest.

Fix your mind on the answer, not on the problem. ‘For as he thinketh in his heart so is he…’ (Proverbs 23:7). If you keep on thinking it, you will start acting it. Many of us want to understand how it works, but Jesus said the kingdom of heaven is like when a man sows a seed in the ground. You can’t understand how the seed is springing forth. Hold on to the word. The word is eternal, while what we are seeing is temporal. The word made everything that you need. The word is Spirit and life. It is quick and can create what you want. So, as you keep speaking and thinking the word, things will begin to change.

Don’t ever believe what the devil is saying. The devil will do his job. And he is very active at his job. But you also must learn to do what you should do. How dare you rise from the place of the word and prayer, and you are now saying nothing is working. That is precisely where the devil wants to get you. That is exactly what he wants you to say. That is the exact position he wants to place you where you will begin to doubt God because of your immediate circumstance. The devil operates in the realm of symptoms, circumstances, and the flesh. He will begin by telling you: “Look, nothing has happened. Your situation hasn’t changed.” Don’t fall for his lies.
