STAY IN THE SECRET PLACE

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty”. Psalms 91:1 (KJV)
Jesus said in John 6:63, “it is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing; the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” It means that as a believer, you are not supposed to stay in the flesh. You are meant to stay in the spirit. The spirit realm is the place of power and authority. The flesh profits nothing. When you hide in the word, it changes your perspective completely.
David said in Psalms 91:1, “he that dwelleth in the secret place of the most shall abide under the shadow of the almighty.” You see that? When your mind is being bombarded and the devil begins to lift up his lies and project them in an intimidating manner, just stay in that secret place and begin to look unto God. Your face will be enlightened, and you will not be ashamed because in the secret place, your negative languages change.
In the book Psalm 91: 2, the scripture says, “I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him will I trust.” (KJV). In other words, when you are in the secret place, your confession will be of the Lord. You are not going to say of diseases and sicknesses. You are not going to say of the devil, nor what they are saying on social media. You have received enough of negative information and bad news. It is time to shut down and zero in on the word of God. That is the place to hide.
Your trust should be in the Lord. Your trust should not be in doctors, as good as they are. Your trust has to be in the Lord. “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: But we will remember the name of the LORD our God.” (Psalm 20:7 KJV). The scripture declares further: “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6). That is what happens in the secret place.
