REFUSE TO BE LIKE THE REST

“The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.” Genesis 49:26
As a leader, archers will surely grieve you, shoot at you and hate you. But you are a builder. As a leader, you shouldn’t refuse to do the right things simply because you are preserving your name and your reputation. No! The kingdom must come first. The kingdom must be your priority.
According to the scriptures, archers shot at Joseph. They did all manner of things to him, but he remained a builder. My body aches when I see somebody who is a leader and is not ready to take responsibility. You are not willing for your name to be called. But who else will they call; if not you? Some leaders will hardly get anything done except they can quote another authority. Then why are you there? You are a leader, so you can’t watch while things go wrong.
Learn from Joseph. He refused to be like the rest and genesis 49:23-26 records: “The archers have surely grieved him, shot at him and hated him…. The arms of his hand are made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob. From, thence is the shepherd the stone of Israel. Even by the God of thy fathers who shall help thee and by the Almighty who shall bless thee with the blessing of heaven above, … The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren”
When you stand out, God will vindicate you. Don’t follow popular opinion when they are wrong. The majority is not always right. Refuse to be like others. You are a family builder. The name of the family must not be tarnished under your watch.
