LIVE BY THE PRINCIPLES OF HIS WORD

“I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me”. Psalms 119:19 (KJV)
The fact that there is power in a building does not automatically give you light. You have to plug into it, and someone has to turn on the light switch. If that is not done, there will be power in the building but there will be no light in that particular room. That is what the Bible is all about. The bible is not given to you to make you feel religious. It is not given to you, so you could say: “I have read one or two chapters. I am fine” No! The Bible is given to you by God to enable you to navigate your life here on earth because you came from heaven to earth.
The Psalmist said in Psalm 119:19, “I am a stranger on earth”. We are all strangers here on earth, your original home is not here and so there are ways that God has designed for you to function here if the corruption in the world will not affect you. There is corruption in the world by virtue of satanic activities. God does not intend that His children partake of it. The way out is to always apply biblical principles in our daily life.
Are you a child of God? Yes, you are. Are you saved and sanctified? Yes, you are. But why is the corruption affecting you? You are affected because you are not applying the principles that God gave you to escape the corruption of this world. The Psalmist said: “I am a stranger here on earth”. The Psalmist was saying in effect “I will miss my way if He doesn’t guide me”. Therefore, he prayed: Lord don’t hide your commandment from me.
Beloved, it is through His commandment that you will be able to escape the corruption out there in the world. So, make up your mind to live by the principles of His word and you will live free of the corruption of the world.
