JUST OBEY GOD’S WORD

“And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.” (1 Samuel 15:22 KJV)
There are many believers who would rather fast and pray than obey. They forget that obeying is better than sacrificing. There are many prayers that are unnecessary if only you obey God. The answer would have been provided by reason of your obedience. Wouldn’t it be a foolish thing to knock on the door that is opened already? The door is already opened for you, just walk into it. The only way to walk into the door is by simple obedience.
Mary said to Jesus’ disciples in John 2:5 (KJV), “…Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.” 1 John 5:3 (KJV) also says, “For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.”
Jesus was entering Jerusalem and he sent two of His disciples into the village and said, you are going to see an ass tied and a colt with her, which nobody has ever sat on, and you are going to bring them unto me. If any man asks you what you are doing, tell him that the Lord has need of them. In other words, if anyone challenges you, just speak and tell them what I said. Do not bother trying to explain. Declare that which I said unto you. And it happened as Jesus said. I challenge you to always obey what He said.
