IT IS YOUR SEASON OF REJOICING
By Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Wednesday 12th February 2025

“They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” (Psalms 126:5-6 KJV)

We are in a time and season when the media is filled with news that makes you weep. There are tales of woe across the globe, more especially, in our nation Nigeria. Many no longer feel safe to move around even in the most secure environments because of the news of sudden attacks and kidnappings. Yet in the midst of all this, God is assuring us that it is our season of rejoicing. Your testimony is around the corner.

I know that things MAY not have worked out as you expected in the past months. You have fasted and prayed, and it appears that heaven has become brass and the earth iron. Child of God, don’t be moved by the lies of the devil. Those who went off with heavy hearts will surely come home laughing, with armloads of blessings.

Beloved, your season of blessing is here. It is your time to celebrate. Nothing will stop it! In view of this, I encourage you in the words of Apostle Paul in Hebrews 10:35-36 (NLT) “So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that He has promised.”

You will not lose out in Jesus name. You will reap all that the Lord has promised you. So, don’t cast away your confidence. Don’t give up and don’t give in. Every day I hear mind-blowing testimonies of healing, deliverance, financial abundance, marriages, and the fruit of the womb amongst others. The same God who has done it for them will do it for you. “For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.” (Romans 10:12 NKJV)
