HE IS ABLE

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” Ephesians 3:20 (KJV)
One of the things that strengthens our faith is our knowledge of Him and His ability. The only reason why a billionaire would promise you a hundred thousand dollars and you would believe it, rejoice and testify about it even though you are yet to receive it is because you have judged the person as able to give you that amount. You did not ask for his bank statement or a letter from his banker, confirming his ability to pay. No, you didn’t. Simply because of what you know of the man, you not only believed, you also testified.
The same principle applies to God. How much of God do you know? Do you believe in His ability to grant the request? Before you pray, stop and meditate on the ability and capacity of God. The more of God you know, the bigger your faith to receive.
If all you know of God is the God that heals headaches, after all the prayers, all you would receive is healing for the headache, meanwhile incredible things are happening around you, but because you cannot see God as able, unbelief takes over and robs you of your testimony, but that will not be your portion.
It is not too late, in the remaining days in this year, decide to meditate on the greatness of God. If you know any testimony in your area of need, recall it to mind, see God doing the miracle in your life too.
As we come to the end of the fast, do not throw caution to the wind. If you learnt to pray for two hours during this fast, keep it up. If there is any positive habit you have picked up this period, keep at it. Hold fast to the Word of God. Know that God is faithful and He is able and willing to bless you.
