HAVE A PROPHETIC CONNECTION
By Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Tuesday 22nd October 2024

“A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves. 2 Kings 4:1 (NKJV)

Out of ignorance and lack of understanding of what God has provided, some people will go without. Here was a prophet who served God, yet he died in poverty. And the creditors came for his children to take them as slaves. The situation seemed hopeless! But the widow went to see Prophet Elisha. Who do you go to when you are stranded? Who do you go to when all hope is lost? Who do you speak to when nothing seems to be working?

Beloved, you must have a Prophetic connection! You must have someone who has a direct link to heaven. When the widow came to her wits end, she came to Elisha. As hopeless as the situation was, the Prophet spoke a word that resulted in a turnaround miracle.

First, Elisha said to this woman very clearly: “What do you have…”? Sometimes, people have some potential in them that they do not know of. No one does not have something that God has put in them that will make them stand out among equals. There is a divine deposit in every person. There is an investment from heaven in you that will make you stand on a global platform. But you have to discover it. That is where the Prophetic voice comes in. It takes the Prophetic voice to call forth those deposits of God in you into manifestation. This is why you must have a Prophetic connection. The Prophetic voice can turn very hopeless situations around in your favour.

What God has put in you that will make you stand out shall come alive. God’s investments in your life will manifest. Your results will not mock God’s deposit in you. Vision helpers are coming your way. What you have may be small, but God will use it to expose you to your world. The world is waiting for you!
