GOD IS THINKING OF YOU

“What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?”
Psalm 8:4 KJV
Human nature is such that when somebody has been in a situation for so long, it is easy to believe that there is really nothing that can be done about the condition. But God does not think that way. In God’s economy, your needs are already met because God operates in the ‘external now’. God does not have tomorrow or yesterday to answer prayers, He operates in the Now. The scripture says, ‘now thanks be to God who causeth us to triumph.’ And ‘now faith is’, not was or will be. So, God lives by His own economy. Whatever the challenge you are facing, it is already settled. Since we live in time and this earth is designed to function within time frame, it is so easy to believe that nothing can happen again in your condition. But nothing can be further from the truth.
As far as God is concerned, He does not forget. From our text today, I am convinced that God is thinking about you. Psalm 40:17; says “though I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God”. I encourage you to know that much more than you even desire, God wants your tears wiped out. David said ‘I have been young and now I am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed beg for bread.’ (Psalm 37:25)
Psalm 106:4 says “Remember me, O Lord, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation”. The word “remember” is talking about someone who thinks about another. It talks about thinking about the wellbeing of another. It is about being mindful of another. It means to recall to memory, to keep in mind or to bear someone in mind as deserving a gift. Therefore, God has not forgotten you. You may have forgotten yourself and have thought you are just one in the number. But God has not forgotten you. You will testify of His goodness in every area of your life. I bless you today!
