“Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?”
Lamentations 3:37 KJV
The story of Mordecai is told in the book of Esther. In spite of the fact that he did very well in the nation, saving king Ahasuerus’ life; Haman, his enemy was the one promoted. Haman was further incensed to the point that he purposed to destroy Mordecai. He said no matter the position I occupy, Mordecai continues to disrespect me. His wife and friends suggested to him to build gallows and hang Mordecai. When everything was finalized, Haman was waiting expectantly for dawn so that he could go to the king, sign a decree and carry out his plans against Mordecai.
But that night, when all hope seemed lost, God made a move to save Mordecai. That night the king remembered what Mordecai did several years ago, when he saved his life. Who told you that God doesn’t remember? God will always speak for you.
There was a man called Simon Peter. He was an ordinary fisherman. No one knew him or recognized him. He was skilled in his art of fishing, but the devil told him ‘your business is closing today.’ He had toiled all night and caught nothing but here comes Jesus. He stepped in the sea and said to him, ‘if you can only partner with me, I will show you that the devil doesn’t have the final say.’ Jesus said thrust your boat a little bit inside the sea and let me teach these people. Simon, whether he understood or not, obeyed.
When Jesus finished teaching, he said to Peter, ‘launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a draught.’ Simon didn’t understand, nevertheless, at the word of Jesus he cast in his net and caught a load of fishes that his net started to break. God will give you a net breaking miracle. If the devil says this is your last; it is actually your first. If they say you are nothing, God will elevate you. God will showcase you. You are moving into another dimension of your life by His grace.
