GOD HAS FASHIONED WEAPONS FOR YOU

“For the weapons of our warfare are not canal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds”. 2 Corinthians 10:4 (KJV)
The Christian battle is spiritual warfare. It is not a carnal battle. In other words, it is not a war of flesh and blood. The book of 2 Corinthians 10:3 says, “For though we walk in the flesh we do not war after the flesh…”. That means there is a place to hide in. You don’t just go about saying all that you are encountering around you.
Our weapons are fashioned by God Himself. They are not ordinary. The infallible, errorless, impregnable, and authoritative word of God is the weapon that God fashioned for you as a believer. The devil has no answer to it. That is why when Jesus was tempted by the devil, He kept saying, it is written.
Beloved, the place to hide is in the word of God. The devil has no answer to it. Whenever your mind has been bombarded by negative thoughts, pull them down with the word of God. Verse 5 reads, “Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God and bringing to captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”. Stop seeing yourself, your husband, your wife, and your children in the casket. See them celebrating and rejoicing.
Cast down imaginations! How do you cast down imaginations? With the word of God!
Bring them down! Never allow them to bombard your mind. When the devil says something to you, speak back to him. When he says that you are going to die, say, I shall not die but live to declare the works of God. You put yourself right away in that very secret place. When he tells you that you can never make it in life, tell him that you have already made it for your life is hidden with Christ in God.
You don’t cast down thoughts with thoughts, you cast down thoughts with words. When the thoughts come, cast them down with words. Don’t accommodate any negative thoughts.
