FUNCTION FROM AN ATMOSPHERE OF REST

“And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.” Genesis 2:2 (KJV)
You will notice that man was released to start to exercise dominion after God had pronounced rest. So, we are supposed to function from the atmosphere of rest and not struggle. When God finished the work of creation, He rested and had a man take over from then on. God was simply saying that I have positioned you in a state of rest; take over from now on and begin to function.
What does that mean? That means when you rebuke the devil, you do not need to wonder whether he will go; he has to go. When you pray, you do not need to wonder whether it will be answered; it will be answered. When you knock at a door, you do not wonder whether it will be opened; it must be opened because God has made all things available to you.
Hebrews 4:6 says: “Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:” (KJV). They entered not because they did not believe. It means that when God’s prophetic Words are spoken over your life, your attitude should be I receive it! It has happened! Do not say: “I do not believe it. I still feel some pain in my body. Until I see a change first, I will not believe it. Until the pain stops, I don’t believe it.” No! Jesus said blessed are those who have not seen but believe.
Those who are empowered are those who don’t wait for manifestation. They are the ones who say God has made all things ready; my part is to take it. Do not go by your symptoms; go by what God has made available for you. You will be surprised how many people have garaged themselves and put themselves on hold for several years because they are waiting for symptoms to stop before they will accept what God has made ready.
