FUNCTION BY GODLY WISDOM
By Bishop Mike Okonkwo

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16 (KJV)

Beloved, these are the last days. The world and its leaders have no answers to the social, economic, and political challenges they face. Daily, we are inundated with news of strange happenings and news of disasters across the world. And no one seems to have any explanations.

Unfortunately, things will not get better in the world. The Bible declares that: “darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people” (Isaiah 60:2). However, even as things get worse in the world, these are the best times for the believer because we are the light of the world. So, we should shine as the light God has made us to be. One of the ways to shine as a believer in this day and time is to operate in godly wisdom.

As believers, we have been made kings and priests unto our God, and therefore, we have a duty to search out the hidden wisdom that the world is in dire need of. What use would the church be if we cannot proffer solutions to the economic, educational, family, societal, and health challenges that are confronting the world today? That is why God has placed us here at such a time as this.

So, how do you access this wisdom? The Bible says in Jeremiah 33:3, “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” The key to accessing this wisdom is seeking, searching, and developing an intimate relationship with the Father. That’s the only way to operate on this superior platform. It is only through intimate fellowship with the Lord that He reveals all that He has stored up for your glory.

Beloved, you are called to be a solution provider. You are light and must be able to give direction wherever it is needed because of your God-advantage. Godly wisdom will distinguish you. So, leverage on it.
