EVERYONE NEEDS CHRIST

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Romans 6:23 (KJV)

Death is not just when you close your eyes. When you are separated from God, you are dead. So, everyone who does not have Christ inside them is dead. Such a person may be breathing and moving about, but if he doesn’t receive Christ, he is already dead in hell. This type of death has other branches, such as sickness, disease, failure, and disappointment. Every type of negative thing that happens to a man is part of death.

If you have no Christ, you are a child of the devil and a child of wrath. John 8:44 puts it this way: “Ye are of your father the devil and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning and abode not in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar and the father of it.” In order words, the devil is the father of all those who have no Christ inside them. That is why you must receive Christ into your life.

The scripture says further in Romans 5:12: “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” You see that! So, you don’t have a choice in this matter; death is automatically passed to everyone, minus those who have received Christ into their lives. If you have Christ, you have passed from death to life.

The good news is that “…God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”(John 3:16 KJV)

“For if by one man’s offence, death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.” (Romans 5:17 KJV)
