DON’T GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAM
By Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Monday 23rd December 2024

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:3 (KJV)

As the year draws to a close, it is so easy to discard your dreams and think it is over. Beloved, it is not over. The question is: How badly do you want your dream fulfilled? How bad do you want your desire? It has to be processed. The vision will speak at the appointed time. If it tarries, wait for it. What price are you willing to pay for your vision, dream, and desire to be accomplished? What price? What processing are you willing to go through? When you have a little hunger, that’s the desire for instant gratification. But real hunger is the desire to change your own life and to impact other people’s lives. If your dream is just about yourself, that is too cheap and too little. But if it is to touch people’s lives, that is the essence of life and living. Many people are living for themselves. That is what I call the small goat mentality. That is not God’s plan for your life. God couldn’t have invested so much in you just for you to live for yourself. The real hunger is the desire to change your own life and others.

Dreams are potent and dynamic. Dreams speak, they protect you, and they defend you. As long as you hold on to your dreams, they will come to pass. Dreams know how to locate the dream builders. God will give you dream builders. God will give you men and women of substance and stature, from far and near, that will build your dream and your vision. They will connect to you from all over the world. Your life is getting better, bigger and stronger.

That dream is your future; never give it up. Everything you will become is in it; give it your best shot. You are the master of your own future. Refuse to allow your past to define who you are. Refuse to let your present challenge define your future. Wherever you are, God will give you the grace to go through the process.
