DEVELOP A FAR ABOVE MENTALITY

“Which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.” Ephesians 1:20-21
One of the challenges of the new creation is that we have not fully comprehended the realities of our new life. Jesus said, “they are not of this world, even as I am not of this world”. The new creation reality means that you received an elevation higher than your natural circumstances; a platform that is superior to anything. You are not a lesser spirit. You are a superior spirit. No demon could stop Him from resurrecting, so also no demon can stop you from rising. You are far above principalities and powers, rulers of darkness of the world and wicked spirits in high places.
Paul says that the mentality we should have is a “far above mentality”. Don’t elevate the devil more than Christ; that would be an insult to my Jesus. Please don’t insult Him. He said He was going to lay down His life and He did. He said He was going to rise on the third day and no power could stop Him. He rose! Why? He is the Lord of all. Glory to God! And guess what! When He died, you died too. When He was buried, you too were buried. When He was raised from the dead, you too were raised. Now that He is sitting at the right hand of God, you are seated together with Him in the heavenly places, far above principalities and powers. Hallelujah!
You are not of this world. That is why the Bible is given to you. The Bible is not meant to be argued. God is not giving you a suggestion, He is telling you what He has made you already. He is showing you who you are and you should lay hold on it. You are far above sickness and diseases. You are above demonic oppressions and satanic manipulations. You are far above limitations and stagnancy. Satan cannot stop you. He cannot hinder you. In fact, he can do nothing about it. Enjoy your status in Christ.
