DECLARE THE WORD
Dr. Mike Okonkwo

26 April, 2021

“Grass will die and a flower will fall to the ground. But a word that our God speaks will be true for all time.” Isaiah 40:8 (Easy English Bible)

It doesn’t matter what that situation is saying, the Word of the Lord always stands sure. Even in the face of contradictory evidence, declare only what God has said. Isaiah 55:11 declares: “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and prosper in the thing whereto I sent it” (KJV).

At the beginning of the year, God gave us a Word as a ministry and as a people. The scripture in Isaiah tells us that the Word must prosper in your life. Hence, there must be manifestation, but do you believe? Are you allowing your situations dictate to you or are you taking counsel from the Word of God? Yes, I understand that sometimes the circumstances are so challenging, but “…with God nothing will be impossible” (Luke 1:37 NKJV). No matter how deep the storm is, Jesus is the Master over that storm.

One thing you must never allow is for the enemy to run roughshod over you. No! Get up and declare your rights in Christ. Stare that situation in the face and speak the Word to it. “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith” (Mark 11:23 KJV). Exercise your authority! Don’t allow the challenges of life shut you up.

There is nothing that takes God unaware. God knew exactly what would happen today ever before we came into this day. He has sent His Word ahead of today; not just for today alone but for the entire year. God wants you to know exactly what He has already done on your behalf. Therefore, it is your responsibility to enforce what Christ has done for you.
