CONTEND IN BATTLE

Today is 14th day of June, 2020.
We’re still in our month of Going Over To The Other Side.
Beloved, if you want to possess what belongs to you on the other side, you have to contend with the enemy in battle.
To contend is to strive against difficulties,
To contend is to contest against difficulties.
We’re dealing with the enemy that can never give up.
He has been defeated by Jesus on the cross of Calvary, but he’ll never accept defeat.
You have to enforce his defeat in every area of your life.
That enforcement of his defeat is what I mean to contend with the enemy.
The Lord said to the children of Israel in Deuteronomy 2:24, “Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over river Arnon: behold I have given into your hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle”.

Beloved, God has already given you the land.
You begin to possess the land by contending with the enemy in battle.
You contend with the enemy that says you’ll not possess the land.
There’s an enemy that says you’ll not possess the land,
There’s an enemy that says you’ll not take the land.
Rise up and contend with that enemy in battle.
It is written in the Bible, 1 Corinthians 16:9, “For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries”.
Beloved, there are many adversaries that says you’ll not enter into great doors that God has opened to you in the land,
There are many adversaries that says you’ll not enter into powerful doors that God has opened to you in the land.

You’ve to rise up and contend with those adversaries in battle.
Don’t sit down there and think that the devil will play dead.
He’ll will not.
He’ll still show you that he’s the demon that have been assigned from the pit of hell to block you.
You’ve to rise up and contend with him showing him that he was defeated by Jesus on the cross of Calvary.
Contend with the adversaries and possess the land and everything that God has given you in the land.
There’s wealth for you in the land,
There are riches for you in the land,
There’s prosperity for you in the land.
There’s abundance for you in the land.
There’s good for you in the land.

The only way I can describe the land to you is to use Deuteronomy 8:7-10, “For the Lord your God brings you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;
A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey;
A land wherein you shall eat bread without scarceness, you shall not lack anything in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills you may dig brass.
When you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless the Lord your God for the good land which He has given you”.
Beloved, God cannot lie.
The fact that it doesn’t happen to you yet as a believer in Christ does not mean that it doesn’t happen to some people.
Many believers in Christ are enjoying these already.

Just believe God that it is your time and your turn.
God says in Deuteronomy 6:10-11, “And it shall be, when the Lord your God shall have brought you into the land which He swore unto you fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give you great and goodly cities, which you built not,
And houses full of all good things, which you filled not, and wells digged, which you dug not, vineyards and olive trees, which you planted not; when you shall have eaten and be full…”

Beloved, I can’t wait to speak into your life,
I decree and declare that lines are fallen unto you in pleasant places,
Yes, you have a goodly heritage.
Because you’re already willing and obedient, you’ll surely eat the good of the land, in Jesus’ Name.

Beloved, don’t forget that the battle is the Lord’s.
When you rise up and contend with the enemy in battle, the Lord will take the battle out of your hand and fight for you.
I see you possees your possessions on the other side, in Jesus’ Name.
