“Jesus said unto him, “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth” (Mark 9:23 KJV)

On this special Mother’s Day, we celebrate the unique strength, wisdom, and love that mothers embody. Many of you tirelessly balance countless responsibilities, pouring out your time, energy, and love to care for your families. But as daughters of the King, you are so much more than caregivers—you are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. This is your inheritance: the fullness of what belongs to Jesus is now yours.

The Bible tells us, “The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it” (Psalm 24:1). The world belongs to you, and it’s yours to claim. Believe this truth, and see it come to life in your own world. Just as our opening verse says, “If you can believe, all things are possible.” When you dare to believe in God’s promises for your life, you unlock the doors to the abundant life He has already prepared for you.

Consider Sarah, the mother of nations. Despite her old age, Sarah chose to believe God’s promise that she would have a child, even when it seemed impossible. Her faith brought forth the miracle of Isaac, the son of promise. God’s Word says, “By faith, Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age because she judged Him faithful who had promised” (Hebrews 11:11). Sarah didn’t let age, circumstance, or doubt define her. She believed—and God honoured her faith.

Think about Hannah, who, though barren, believed God for a son. She prayed earnestly and promised that if God gave her a child, she would dedicate him to the Lord’s service. Her faith in God’s faithfulness led to the birth of Samuel, one of Israel’s greatest prophets. The Bible says, “For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition which I asked of Him” (1 Samuel 1:27). Hannah’s belief didn’t just open the door for her own blessing; it opened the door for a whole nation.

So, as you reflect on this Mother’s Day, remember that you are called to believe just as these mighty women of faith did. Trust in God’s promises over your life and hold fast to them. Arm yourself with the knowledge of who you are in Christ and what He has promised you. Stand strong, knowing that God is faithful to keep His Word. Believe that He has already given you all that He promised, and you will see His goodness unfold in your life. Hallelujah!

Happy Mother’s Day!
