BE AN EXAMPLE OF GOD

“Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 11:1 (KJV)
Today, I am challenging you to be God’s Ambassador –let the world see Christ in you everywhere you go.
We live in a world full of tension. The hearts of many are failing them. Trust has long gone out through the window, a brother is willing and ready to betray another brother, a sister is comfortable betraying a sister, families have fallen apart, and trust has become an alien word. Imagine the drastic change you will make in the world if you decide to be the light.
You do not have to wait to have a title or a massive follower of hundreds or thousands. No, just where you are, decide to be an example of God. As a songwriter wrote, “… try a little kindness, show a little kindness, and shine your light for everyone to see …’ Unfortunately, when you decide to be the light, many will look at you suspiciously, some will even run from you, the bold people will ask you what you really want. Do you know why? It is simply because abnormality has become normal. We are used to the harsh world around us where is it a case of a dog eating dog without anyone caring how you feel? Despite the way others feel, decide to be that example of Jesus. Let His love radiate through you. Refuse to be anything but kind.
However, this can only be possible when you have a personal relationship with God, because, you cannot reflect Him if He is not on the inside. Accepting Jesus Christ in your life as your personal Lord and Saviour is the beginning. The next step is getting yourself grounded in Him. Build a relationship with God in the place of prayer and studying the word of God and also by joining other believers in fellowship. Let me interject here to encourage everyone who can be in Church on Sunday to please be there. You can get a lot when interacting one with another. If you are yet to get back to physical church, I charge you to reconsider and resume physical service because there is more to church than you can get online.
