ACKNOWLEDGE THE GOOD THINGS IN YOU

“That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus”. Philemon 1:6 (KJV)
Often times, it is so easy to concentrate on the things that are not working yet and forget the things God is doing and the things God has done. There is so much God is doing in you that the world needs to see. So, how do I work it out? How does it come out and how does it manifest? Philemon 1:6 shows us how. “That the communication of thy faith may become effectual…” It will become effective through communication. Let me put it in another way. The communication of the Word of God to yourself, as well as the declaration of the Word and the promises of God to you. You say it to yourself and it becomes effective. How? “By the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus”.
Beloved, wake up in the morning and begin to thank Him for the good that’s in you. The truth is, you have more good things going on in your life than the bad. At least you woke up! That is a good thing. You went to the toilet yourself, that’s a good thing. You brushed your teeth yourself. Say thank you Lord that I brushed my teeth by myself. Thank you Lord that you are so good to me. Thank you, Lord, you are so merciful to me. Thank you Lord for not dealing with me according to my transgression. Thank you Lord for your wonderful promises to me. Thank you Lord that I have the appetite to eat. I may not have three square meals, but at least I eat. Thank you, Lord, that I went out yesterday and came back, there was no evil report. Thank you, Lord. The songwriter says: “count your blessings and it will surprise you what the Lord has done”. As you do so, your faith becomes effectual. As you are thanking Him, the one inside you will begin to manifest.
