Rev. Akaninyene Effiong is the Resident Pastor in-charge of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM), Green Pastures House – a vibrant and fast-growing congregation in the city of Uyo. He is also the State Pastor of TREM in Akwa Ibom State.
He is a seasoned, focused and dynamic preacher and teacher of the word who has the God-given mandate to make disciples, raise leaders and to empower people for the work of the kingdom through the teaching of scriptural truths and success principles.
He is a firm believer in the efficacy of the word of God – that there is absolute power in the word of God; and that whatever the word of God cannot give to you, it is because you don’t need it and such a thing is non-existent.
His pastoral ministry started at TREM – The Lord’s Palace, at Oron L.G.A., about ten years (10yrs) ago. Having served and being used of God by The Power of the Holy Spirit to establish the work there, he was transferred to Uyo in 2012 to continue the work of shepherding the flock of Jesus Christ.
His passion is reaching out through evangelism and bringing men and women into the kingdom, and helping them to be better witnesses of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
He is married to Mummy Enobong Akaninyene Effiong. They are blessed with three (3) boys and two (2) girls.
